Leases

A lease is used to lease art to some place for a period of time. Some examples may be a doctor's office or a vacation rental. Leasing can be a good option for companies or families who love interesting artwork and to have variety, but may also have a budget to consider. The costs can be factored in as a regular monthly, weekly or daily fee, representing far less outlay than would be the case with buying works outright. It is not a sale, but the gallery still receives money, therefore it is a type of Transaction. A lease will remove the item(s) from inventory like a sale.
