Note the X-Charge Software needs to be installed first.
Go to Start > All Programs > X-Charge > X-Charge.
Click on File > X-Charge Server.
Click on the Set-up button.
On the Server tab, write down or copy (highlight then CTRL-C) the Transaction Folder path.
You can now Exit out of X-Charge and go to Masterpiece.
Go to Masterpiece, click on Tools > Change Company Settings > go to the Transaction tab, click the Edit button on the tool bar.
Check the box for Require Authorization
Number for CC Sales, check the box for X-Charge,
and then type or paste the Transaction Folder path that was in X-Charge
so they match.
Be sure to end the path with a \ and then hit your tab key to make sure
Masterpiece validates the directory path. Now
click Save on the Toolbar.
Now you should be able to run Credit Cards via Masterpiece.
