How to Send Email via Masterpiece

If you would like to send a mass email you should generate a DBF file which you can send from Masterpiece.
Note
: If you have not generated a list yet please go here: How to generate a Mailing List to send a Mass Email

Go to Online, Send Email.

Click the box with the 3 dots to the far right of the "To" field if you would like to send to a group of people from a DBF file, OR you can just type someone's email address into the To field, OR you can click on the To, CC, and/or BCC buttons and feed in existing contacts from Masterpiece into the email.

Note: We recommend if you are sending a mass email to first send it to yourself before feeding in the list so you can double check spelling, formatting, etc of your email and any attachments or templates you want to include in the email.

In the top drop down for "Look In" go to where you saved the DBF file, select it and click on OK.

This will feed in the file so that Masterpiece will send this email to each person on the list one at a time.

Please notice that there are no spaces in the file path in the To line, if you have saved your DBF file somewhere where there is spaces in the file path then when you try to send the email it will error out.

The "From" field is where a valid email address can be used, it can be any email address that is used in the main setup for Masterpiece, so we can use info@, kim@, support@, or any email address that ends with the domain name @masterpiecesolutions.com because we used it in the Online tab of the Company Settings when we configured Masterpiece to send email. (See #13 for How to configure Email in Masterpiece)

The "From Name" field is to be used for your display name.

The Subject and Message fields are just like standard emails fields.

If you need to send an attachment click on the "Attach" button, browse to where the file is and select it.

Click the send button once you are ready to send the email. This will send this email to each person on the list one at a time that is in the DBF file so that no-one can see each others email address.
